Nvidia brings agents into robotics. Isaac ROS 5.0 aims to connect language models with physical machines

Nvidia released Isaac ROS 5.0, a new version of open libraries for the ROS robotics ecosystem. It adds tools for agentic robotics and for connecting models capable of visual perception, reasoning and planning with robotic systems on the Jetson platform. The direction matters for industry: generative AI is moving from the screen into physical machines, where a mistake can damage equipment or endanger a person.
