Biggest Ever US Clean Energy Project Completed After Nearly Two Decades

The largest clean energy infrastructure project ever completed in the United States has become fully operational after nearly two decades of development. Pattern Energy Group announced that the $11 billion SunZia project, comprising a 3,650-megawatt wind farm and a 550-mile transmission line, is now delivering renewable electricity from central New Mexico to south-central Arizona. Around two-thirds of the power generated will ultimately be supplied to customers in California.
