Polish Entrepreneurs Invest in BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor Projects

A group of prominent Polish entrepreneurs have invested a total of PLN 500 million (USD 128 million) in Synthos Green Energy (SGE), supporting the company’s plans to develop fleets of small modular reactors (SMRs) in Poland, the UK and other European countries. The investment follows SGE’s agreement with GE Vernova, Hitachi and Samsung C&T to cooperate on deploying GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy’s BWRX-300 SMR technology across Europe.
