Employees do not want promises that AI will threaten no one. Leadership should say precisely what it knows and what it does not yet know

Uncertainty around AI cannot be removed by a presentation about productivity or a promise that every role will remain unchanged. People know work is changing, and distrust is more likely to arise from a mismatch between their experience and official communication. Leadership therefore needs to separate confirmed changes from assumptions and openly explain where AI helps, which activities it changes and where the company does not yet have an answer.
